I bought a bunch of fleece from walmart a few months ago - and SHEESH, the woman they had cutting was SOOOOOOOOOOOOO SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOW I could have gotten all my groceries and checked out before she was done. I almost picked up the scissors and "helped" her.

Frustrating isn't it? That dang store had 5 bolts of cool chicken fabric too. Yelling would have gotten me some attention, but NOT the kind I needed at the time. This store is notorious for not taking care of the customer.

But I always come back ......for the 'made in China' accessories I need. Ack....

Oh next time just go behind the counter and start measuring out the fabric ! Bet somebody shows up quick then !

Don't ya just love the customer service you get sometimes !

I actually thought of that....but the security cameras... as long as I didn't need to reach into my purse for something... it would have looked OK.

Hmmm... now I'm tempted to try that, I bet no one would even notice..then again, a bunch of women would probably show up and I'd have a part time job before I knew it! Nah....I have enough to do.

I've spent a good part of my weekend sorting my fabric. I finally decided to HANG it all instead of it being in BOXES!

First I moved all our halloween stuff out of the closet in my sewing room, then I hung all the large pieces of fabric on hangers and in the closet - and the smaller pieces got color sorted into one of those hanging clothing sorters.
I FINALLY (ok hubby did) find my booklet for my overlocker - I was too dang nervous to try thread the thing without the booklet (it has 8 threads

) so now I'm all set to start making clothing again - mostly sweat pants and things like that.

All you have to do is go to WalMart.com and click on the "Letter's to the President" section and put the store number in and your complaint about lack of service, or call the 1-800-Walmart # and ask to leave a voice mail for the president of the company. They will send an email to the store manager and they have 24 hours to report back to the President the resolution to your compaint. If a store gets enough complaints they will change out the management of the store.

I've purposely made a spectacle out of myself several times in stores.
It always works, when you start hollaring out real loud in the Men's department, holding a big bag of female intimate toiletries, "DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN GET A PRICE FOR THESE?!" Once there are 5 people running like roaches with the lights on, "what can I help you with, ma'am?" You can then polietly tell them you need some fabric cut!
It's funny how well that works sometimes.. Yes, that was me that time in wal-mart.. I'm sorry if I embarrassed you, I didn't know that was you cringing in the t-shirt stand.... hiding behind the pants...etc...

So have you snuck and made any blocks yet, or did the purring of the machine wake them up.

Go ahead and send them to me, I already have 3 daughters, 2 more won't hurt.
