I am so new to this I thought she liked log cabins in her fabric!!! Wow, glad you cleared that up, lol!!!! And Skand, that was ME hiding behind the t-shirts!!! I never, ever make a scene, just walk out. Once I got really mad and brave and left all my stuff a counter near the register at Joann's when they were yapping and not waiting on customers...my husband is the one that shows his butt to store clerks...man can he get loud and nasty with them, I feel sorry for them sometimes, especially if they can't count change, I mean you can't help stupid......

This is for folks who's only fabric store, where they can go in and 'touch' the fabrics, is Walmart:
go to the Walmart.com site....and please tell them how important your fabric selection 'in their store' is to you!
I live....well, let's just say I have to drive 30 minutes to get to the closest Walmart, and then next one is 40 minutes away...
There are no little Mom and Pop fabric stores in my town, or the next one over for that matter. I have to drive to Greenville, MS to really go shopping...

The little woman behind the counter, who is a pleasure to work with, told me that with Walmart phasing out their fabric selections we had to start writing and 'begging' for them to keep the fabric selections.
The Walmart in Monticello has already phased their material out....
sooo....if your having problems getting help in the fabric dept. that may be a 'heads-up' that they will phase their fabric out...especially if they don't keep an employee in there.

I'm an hour away from anything, so I understand, an spend most of my money online. I will be sure to mention it to walmart - our store is a super store or whatever its called.

I thought walmart was selling out on all their yarns last year - they had everything on sale and all - but they just moved to different brands...​
