2009 Quilt block of the month - February

Scrambled got my block today I love it, I have the same red fabric with black chickens. I am using it in my scrappy 9 patch block swap. Too cool.

Got my machine to work about 8 pm tonight. So I got busy on my blocks for the scrappy 9 patch swap. All I got left is to iron and connect the rows on 24 blocks

I am also getting babies to hatch 13 hatched lost 1, it hatched to early yolk was not absorbed. I have pips in about 12 more and that leaves 19 left to go.


Tomorrow I am finishing the 24 blocks for the scrappy 9 patch swap. Then in the next week I will do the 3 blocks for here and start the blocks for the Spring 2009 swap. Busy Busy Busy LOL.

Add playing with 10 pups and getting my new grandpup for 10 days starting Sunday and can we say get your head examined.

We've already started moving but I am almost in tears tonight. This house is such a mess ... I needed a break so I came here.

Moving can actually be very stressful on a person, so I am glad you came here for a break.

I remembered when we moved 7 years ago, we moved 1 room at a time. We packed everything up and kept it in that room (boxes labeled) and that made it much less stressful.

Also nothing was unpacked until all the boxes were in the new desinated room.

I will be praying for you and Chevy on your moves.

Yes, starting to stress. Its taking its toll. I just keep thinking geez, the kids have really trashed this place out. And the laundry that just keeps on and keeps on ... anyway, sorry to hijack the thread!!

On the quilting side - I went to Walmart and bought some baby fabric for the baby blocks! Had to get more laundry detergent!!!

Looking forward to the babies hatching tomorrow - they are due! This will be my first hatch too!

I took 18 eggs to gumpsgirl so she sould put them in her incubator for me, and she delivered 14 little fluffy butts to me today.

They are the cutest little things.

I can't wait for mine! I am hoping that *something* happens tomorrow .. day 21. I also have a few due the 1st. It will be so nice to come home to the "old" house after we close and see little fuzzy butts making it one of the most perfect days ever! So far, all the eggs are just sitting there, silently, doing nothing. I listened for little chirps and nothing.
