PUFF OF FLUFF is fantastic!!!

I just received the square that she sent to me for this month!!! It is BEAUTIFUL!!! Here is a picture:

She also sent me a label, some extra fabric and a cute little chickie with eggs (cotton balls!!!) LOL

I feel very blessed!!

Maybe Wild can get some of that Kenyan fabric to bring back and do hers in, then when we talk about the quilt we can mention the African Wildthing!!!!!!!!!!!!

All I can say is WOW those blocks are fantastic! I'm gonna work some more on my camera/computer problem today and see if I can finally get it to work so I can post some pics of things for you all to see.

Happy Birthday to both girls.

Nice blocks everyone. I better get busy and start figuring out what blocks I will be making as I don't think the 9 patch is going to do it. If I don't get my new sewing machine a 9 patch will have to do it as I am so tired of fighting my machine so I will have to keep it simple.

I am still trying to figure out the machine I want, I have to take my time as it is a purchase for a very long time so I better like it for the money I will be putting out on it.

Looking at the Viking Designer SE, they have a new one out so these are coming down on clearance way more reasonable in price. They also come with a 20 year warrenty. The local Viking dealer is selling used ones for more than the new ones on clearance, I hate to go out of town but I am not buying used for more than new and no warrenty.

I am also looking at the long arm machines. They have one called the mega quilter.

Does anyone have any of these machines and how do you like them. Father Chuck any sugjestions I know you have been checking on these long arms and an embrodiery machines.

I have been looking at the Handy Quilter machines, they just came came out with their HQSixteen model. Here is their website:

As to sewing machines, much as I like and want a Husqvarna Viking Machine, it is way out of my price range, but I also like Pfaff. Here is their web address:

But for the moment I'll plug along on my trusty Brother and find someone to do the final quilting for me, unless I get ambitious and do it by hand.

Thanks Father Chuck, I know alot of people are upgrading their Designer SE so I am going on my local boards and putting out on ISO message I am hoping for a good used one before they trade it in and the dealer ups that price to way too high. If I am meant to have one I will get a response.

Now off to check out those sites.

I've already told my husband to look out, one with an embroidery function is on my birthday list, lol!!

Woah!!!! These blocks are so beautiful. It's really charging me up after 5 years of not quilting.​

Sent out one block last week and am sending out 2 more in tomorrow's mail.
IM ready to start on next months blocks.

I will do 3 blocks next month as well. Don't know who IM supposed to tell ? Acres ?

Everyone is doing so many neat things ! It will be so fun when we put our quilts together and then show them off to one another !!!!!!!
