2009 Quilt block of the month - February

I'm one of those people that thinks, if it's small, it cant possibly make that big of a mess, right?

My first car? a tiny little blue thing that really should of had one of those wind-up things on the top. Looked like a really bad bumper car.
My newest vehicle... a van! Yeah, you expect me to zip in and out of traffic in something that huge?! you have got to be crazy! Thank goodness the only time I run into or over something is in my own driveway. Mostly because that's the only time I park to where I have to back up. lol If I cant go out straight, I dont park there. lol
The girls even know why I park in the way back. "cause the van's too big"

I like my Brother. I bought one in '95 and just replaced it last year. It actually still worked, I just gave it to a friend.

My Mom sent me a Singer serger/overlock machine to me in the mail. I was shocked

My hubby says he may get me an embroidery machine.

I dont like my brother, and he never worked, the lazy bum, where do you take them to trade in for a better one? I wouldnt give my brother to a friend, I dont dislike anyone that much. Oh your talking about sewing machines, sorry I was thinking family members. I learned on a Singer 10 grade home ec class, couple years ago. DW has 2, not sure what brands but wont let me near them for some reason.

Maybe if I told her it was for BYC she would let me look at them.

Okay, you ladies can't have all the fun by yourselves, you'd only get into some serious trouble!

Someone has to be here to rescue you from the hoosegow!

OMG. I had one of those cheaper Brother machines. It was always jamming. The tension wouldn't hold. I hated it. Then I got a Kenmore, which has since moved out with my daughter. Now I have a Janome, and I love it. FYI to anybody learning to sew - the fastest way to ruin any sewing machine is to use cheap thread in it. The excessive lint ruins all of the workings.

Brother is a good name, but I'll never buy another one.

Some of us have to start at the bottom to get to the top. Just give it time, we all will have a Janome or a Estante (?).
