Welcome dragracer!!

Sara, I can't wait to get home and see your block (can't see stuff on photobucket at work). I'm going home soon (I drove ALL the way here only to learn that they closed the office today... I stuck around to finish a few things since I'm here anyway).

Zookeeper you sound super busy!! I hope you get your machine working for you! It's so frustrating when they won't work when you need them the most!

MissPrissy - that is a really neat idea! I think it is wonderful that you're teaching your daughter!!! Again, I can't wait to get home to see the picture!

MissP that is such a great idea but my youngest totally wears out a pair of PJ's and it would be impossible for me to save them. lol

All of my girls know how to thread a sewing machine and sew to, but they are just not interested in it as much as I am because they say that they can just have me sew it for them.

I don't mind it though. I must get to work on my denim project......I must.....I must.....I must............................

whew! I got a bunch done today. I made sure I worked slow and steady. As in, steadily beating Caydence's hand away from everything! Just when I think she is totally occupied doing something, I look down, and there's her little fingers touching anything and everything! A little more ironing, sewing, and cussing, and the block will be done!!

Glad to hear about the younger ones learning to sew. I learned to sew baby stuff when I was 10. Oldest DGD started a quilt when she was 8 She is 9 now. She works on her quilt when she comes to our house. she just has to put the backing on. I do not do any of the work for her. It is her quilt, that is how she wanted it to be. Keep up the good work little MissP
