*2009 Quilt Block of the Month* March

PG is correct, the sign up deadline for this month is the 10th and the blocks are to be sent out by the 25th to the person below your name. If you are the last name on the list then you send your block to the first name on the list. For the addresses just send a pm to Acres and she will provide you with the mailing address of the person you are supposed to send it too. If you are not sure as to who you are supposed to send your block to the list of names is in the first post with the directions.

Hey yall.. just a quickie saying we've got most of the move over with.. still got furniture to storage before we can say we are all done with the move.
I took out all my fabric the other day, got some cut, started sewing, my machine puttered out on me... Hopefully, we have a neighbor that has a machine,

he'll let me borrow it, so I can get my 3 done before yall send out a hunting party to knock on my door!

Anyone got an immediate cure for a sunburn that makes you flu-like sick? After I get this battled, I think I'll go hi-jack some old lady's machine. I'll just tell her that it's all fair in the quilting world!

A cool (not cold) bath for one thing, that sounds like it's close to heat stroke actually.

Eek! Drink LOTS of fluids, water and Gatorade or something with Electrolytes in it.
I also like to use the aloe stuff that has Lidocaine in it, topical anesthetic takes the pain out.

Yep, you've got heatstroke. Drink TONS of water, have a cool bath, and eat bananas, if you can. Hopefully, it's not as bad as the one that took out my hubby for 2 weeks last year. Texas can be brutal that way.
