This is so much fun and is challenging me to do more than just simple squares.

OH! The other day I found this fabric shop in town... it's mostly drapery and upholstery material, but the lady gets all kinds of scraps etc... anyway, she let me go back in her back room and dig through all these piles of scrap materials.. it was so fun! lol I found a bunch of bits and pieces that I can play with now... and I can't wait to go back and dig some more! lol

My sister found a bunch of velvety upholstery type material, not too heavy, and wants me to make her a quilt with it.

I should do a crazy quilt!! There are tons of different fabrics in there. And she gave me a great deal on them too...I stuffed a bag full and it was only $15.. and some of the fabric was a yard or more! I was pleased with what I got for the price.

Chicken Women, I received your block today, thank you I really like it. I'm glad I got it today and didn't send out mine yet. I had about $2.40 postage on the one's I was sending out. LOL Now I will take some off if I can. LOL

I got my block from Chicken woman and I just love it. These swaps have kept me sane this winter, well as sane as an insane person can be. LOL.

Mine will go out next week as I have the weekend all busy busy busy. Darn I hate those hurry up and rush weekends.
