**2009 Quilt Block Swap for April**

Quote:
There is no button. I wondered why there was some padding taped to plastic bag... I never made the connection that there was something missing, though! I just checked and found part of the button in the bag.

Maybe I can buy one to replace it... I'm afraid if you tried to ship one they might break it too!

Cluckin' I'm working on your block now.

I will be going to the post office in the morning to send all my blocks out!

Those are all beautiful blocks. I finally had to uninstall AOL and install an older version, However it appears that my Screen Name file is corrupted and so I have to sign on as a guest on my own computer. It goes to the repair man next week!.

But at least I can communicate from home for now! I was going through withdrawals!

Well I worked on my blocks while waiting for my daughter to call from the hospital. The blocks are done and the postage is on them and they will go out tomorrow.

As far as Arcamedias goes he was given another steriod shot and sent home with a perscription for steriod meds till he can get in to see an alergy specialist. He is only 2 and it breaks my heart when the little man is sick as he is soooooooooooooo tough. Thanks for asking after him.

I sure have had fun with these swaps.

Father Chuck glad to see ya on, hope all is well with you and yours, still praying for you and your family.

Has anyone heard from Skand. Haven't seen her on in a coon's age.

I'm sorry about the button Chevy, that's why I had fragile and do not crush all over your envelope. Maybe a regular plastic button would be more durable anyway, so sorry, but yes, there was a button eye.

I miss Skand, the girls and Hippie Jim too. Someone ont he crochet thread got a text from her this week saying their eggs were hatching and I think they have some ducklings in the mix! I guess they are living in the silver bullet until school is out but I could be wrong about that, I stay too busy to be in the loop anymore but at least they have been heard from this week so they are ok.

Chevy, that block is awesome!!! I am so inspired to work on the piecing lately...yep, next month, pieced blocks....I guess we will have a next month swap? Does anyone know for sure? I figure the big swaps are closed down but wasnt sure about this one. If it is, maybe we can use that yahoo rooster group swap that Jody and Beth belong to to swap blocks? Acre are we still allowed to have this swap next month??

Slo Crev..Amy is right, I am up before the chickens on workdays so I can go earn enough money to buy chicken feed, fabric and yarn.....oh and pay the bills and buy some groceries too, lol!! I'm working 7 - 4's m-f which is pretty cool being so close to home, I have so much more evening time now

What a nice way to open the mail and find my blocks from ginbart and lunachick! The blocks are gorgeous ladies, I am impressed with the skill levels involved. I really like them and they will fit in well with my other blocks I have gotten.

lunachick--I'm glad you liked it. The picture did not show all the details in the black. I think the black offset it really well. The black and pink were civil war era fabric (in love with it) and the others is from the vintage 30's collection.
