Those bat houses are sold at Lowes and home Depot, you just have to make sure they are about 20 feet in the air on a free standing pole so they can find it with their radar like hearing..and the most important thing is to have it facing the mornign sun..they like that warmth in the morning..course I learned all this after we nailed one up on the side of my shed about 15 years ago only about 6 feet off the ground and facing the afternoon sun, lol!! Never had an occupant needless to say and too old too move. Good luck..they eat misquitos I hear!!

Who collects peanut fabric. Joann's has a new Thanksgiving and a new Christmas one out. Christmas one was 30% off yesterday not sure if it is still on sale.


Leepsy and Luna your blocks are going into the mail today.

I bought a new computer, my old one was bought in 98 and I have never had a problem with it. Just added some memory about 4 years ago. I had to buy a new one because they don't make programs or updates for windows 98 anymore. I will be sad to shut down my old one. In fact I have had my new computer since Thursday and it is still in the box LOL. I think I will like my new 23 inch flat screen monator.

Does anyone have any advice on a photo program? I was told that I can not use any of my programs that were for windows 98 they all have to be Vista compatable. Sad as I have a lot of programs.

Is windows Vista hard to learn and is there anything I need to watch out for?

Thanks for any help, I will be backing up everything on this computer like my pics and stuff but my address book and my favorites are going to be a buggar to do.

I will really miss my old computer, I know pathetic hey LOL.

Thanks for the info SE but we dont have any mature trees on the property and I dont want bat guano running down my house or chicken coop.

I will eventually get DH to build me a stand but the area may be too opened not to mention that we see birds (yes birds) flying around at night so there is stiff competition for food.

Have my patterns picked out and will be working on my blocks this week.. hopefully I'll get them done before the weekend as I will be SUPER busy with barn-sitting.

Zookeeper.. congrats on the new computer! I will have to at least update to Vista soon I'm sure..

I used it at a job I had and really had no problems getting used to it.
In fact when I got home to use XP I kinda missed some of the stuff Vista could do! lol
I never understood why so many people hated it though..

I understand you feeling sad about your old computer though, I still mourn for my laptop after three years! lol I'm a little weird like that.. it was just so... comfortable!
