The really bright fabric was from the $3 a yard end of bolt shelf at the local quilt shop. I have made some great finds on that shelf and spent way too much. "But honey it's only $3 a yard"

I think Zoo said that was a bowtie block, very nice, she is like the ringer in baseball, the pinch hitter that slams the homerun..comes in the game in stealth mode all unassuming and then knocks it out of the park!!

I looked to make sure you were not in the fall swap as that is the one I made for the fall swap, extra's come in really nice.

I have made 4 queen size quilts and 1 full size with this bow tie block. They are fun easy and look like really hard work. One day I will tell you a story how I planned 1 queen size bow tie quilt and when I was done I had 4 queen size quilts and 1 full LOL with extra blocks left over still. Talk about new and making math errors LOL.
