I got my block today and I love it. When I saw Lunachick's block yesterday I said to myself, "Self, you need to PM Jean and see if she would make you one like that."

Lo and behold, I went to the mailbox today and found mine from you.

Thank you so much. I received two winners again from this monthly swap 'cause 17roses' block was wonderful too. And I, too, would like to know how you sewed those little squares!

17roses....I am not usually fond of strong colors, except in clothes, but I absolutely love the colors in the block you made for me. I need to look for end of bolt goodies if they are like that!

Now my whole weekend is going to be finishing up these rooms and putting things away, That will teach me, not really it is one lesson I have never been able to learn LOL.

Leepsy you are in the fall swap so you will get one like Luna's as well. I tried the greens first and liked the look but thought I needed more for the fall colors so then I came up with the ones like Luna's for the fall swap, so everyone in the fall swap will get a block like Luna's.

Zoo has stepped up her game so much in the quilting I feel a healthy competition with her to keep improving myself....you know, trying to pass her coming outta turn 4 and beat her to the checkered flag, lol!!! (yes, I make racing analogies with most everthing, lol!) Sort of kidding, but really I like the comparative competition with her since she wasn't too far from starting quilting when I did..keeps me on my toes, and thus far, finishing second....but I'm still workin on it!!

We are both still getting lapped by the likes of Nanakat, CW, Piecemaker, just to name a few notable ones and several others though!!! Those are the ones I aspire to quilt like, nice to have role models in your craft, I've learned sooooo much from you all!!!!
