Hey darlene here is you block. If I can get better pic I will post it, but this give you an idea....and yes!!! it has pink in it but I think you will look past that.

Orininally it's called Carol's Star but I called it Sami's Star because my daughter called while I was sewing it together and I was happy to hear from her. The paper piecing procedure was used with it.

This is the pattern I used for the block. It was actually really simple.
