Two classmates and I are working together in a Engineering Development and Design class under the Project Lead The Way curriculum. We have designed a chicken brooder that requires very little human interaction when adjusting the height between the lamp and the chickens for ideal temperature than previous models. As engineering design, if you're ME, a robust moving design that is resistant to chick dust and chick debris would be interesting. If you guys are EE, better than a mechanical design, a sensor circuit that dims the lighting according to a temperature reading at some point in the incubator would be interesting. For 2 bucks, many people just hang a light and put it on a dimmer switch.
