Kind of breaking the rules here, but can you guess which egg ISN'T dyed? At least I did use natural things to color them: blueberries, curry powder and chili powder (the beet juice just wouldn't get dark enough). Hint for the answer: "this egg was laid by an Ameraucana"!

What are the chickens in your profile picture? They are beautiful! I have some Coronation Sussex eggs in the incubator. The first batch didn't hatch, so really hoping some of these do!

He's a splash silkie chick. To quote something someone said and reply to it, hit the quote button in their post and then scroll to the bottom of your screen. The quote should be there waiting. Scroll down, type away and hit submit. Hope that made sense.

Do you ever sell fertile eggs ?

I don't have an AM roo anymore, sorry, but the best AM blues generally come from Wheaten or Blue Wheaten pure Ameraucanas [not Easter Eggers]. Look in the classifieds as there are other breeders who sell hatching eggs from stock that have wonderful blue-egg genes. Also look on the Ameraucana breed website for a list of breeders by state. It's www.ameraucana.org.
