Tom was invited to his friend's house for dinner. He found that his buddy called his wife every cute name in the book: honey, darling, sweetheart, pumpkin, and baby. When she was in the kitchen, he leaned over to his friend and said, "I think it's nice you still call your wife all those pet names." "To tell you the truth," his friend said, "I forgot her name about three years ago."

Funny (true) story: my hubby is notorious for being, shall we say, appropriately inappropriate. The general rule at my house is "if dad says it, DO NOT repeat it." Well, he thought it was funny to makes voices for the chickens and have them "talk" to each other. My daughter thought it was hilarious. So did I until she was telling the pastor about relocating some chickens to another pen. She informed him that the chickens didn't like being moved and were saying "what the cluck?!"


On another note, a huge THANK YOU to everyone--organizers and participants alike! It's my first hatch-along and I'll be happy/sad when it ends. Happy cause we get new babies, sad that the fun is over.
