Some of last years hatch are laying, i been finding random eggs all over the place, i just put some under the broodies ,not sure if they are fertil but i have seen several of last years hatch getting covered by Master P, he has a boat load of hens and the other three males don't have a one go figure, after pie got over his injury he has lost what hens were attracted to him, so i will have no pied to white breedings like i hoped for

Your chick does not look cameo at all but they can sometimes fool you. I see no reason to believe that the opal male is not BS either so the chick is a conundrum. The biggest factor in my mind is that the chick appears to have ZERO white anywhere on it and it would if it came out of that opal pen That hen sure looks pied/silverpied. Hopefully you get some more chicks from the opal pen to confirm and then you just have to figure out where the chick came from. You might want to pull the wing tag numbers on the opals and just have Brad check.

I have searched for this tag numbers in my country but i can't find it, i wish this chick made it to the end since he don't looks well today.

Okay when do you all go into lockdown? Day 24 or 25? I can't remember what day mine usually hatch I think it is on day 26 or 27...

Today is day 17 and I talked to the egg and I think I saw it move just a tiny bit.

I wouldn't worry about lockdown. A hen will still rotate her eggs anyway and still get off the nest.
