That's "Mrs. Dirty Back" to be precise.

My oldest IB hen is named Captain Hook, and if you could see her toenails you'd know why. Some curl up not down.

Good news the lady I sold Smarty to (her sister picked him up) got him and on the same day she got a peahen for him. She said that he is getting along great with the peahen.

Here's 3 more PeaBabies that hatched out between Friday morning and Saturday afternoon...

The front left chick has a few White flights on each wing and the chick on the right just has 1 White flight on one wing only, and the little chick in the back on the left (the last one to hatch, from a smaller egg) has no White flights at all and is a little darker on the head and back than the other 2 are.

I get to use my incubator on pea eggs! I've got guinea eggs in it right now that are not related to mine. They are about half way through and so far so good. I wonder if I set the pea eggs with the guinea eggs? When I go to lock down on the guinea eggs I will have only set the pea eggs about a week.
