A broody hen can not control when an egg hatches
lau.gif
and she surly can not make them hatch the same day, did you make this up are did someone tell you that?

I have used broodies and an incubator and still got them hatching by day 26 or even before then.

Mine go to lockdown tomorrow. Should I go ahead and move them now, I don't want to risk them getting hurt in the egg turner. And I haven't moved my humidity up to 70 percent yet.

Baby number 2 is out and 3 is on the way, the last egg i am worried about it has a small air cell compared to the others i fear it has not lost the proper amount of moisture at 2 weeks and may be turned in the wrong direction , i am not helping i want to see how it plays out even if it means you know what. it is a learning thing for me and i only have these to learn from at this time as i have sold and placed all my other eggs to date.

Baby 1 doing great already responding to my voice, can't wait to hold her ...yea i said her

My hen got four out of 6 of her eggs to hatch all on the same day and they were all different days. Eggs 1, 2, 4, and 6 were the ducklings that hatched and they were layed on different days but they all hatched within 4 hours from the first duckling. The other 2 eggs never hatched.

You must be speaking about Thor? Sorry,Thora? I think it's a tactic to gain attention by knowingly picking something as a subjct that so far is not humanly possible. Example #1,Sexing a peachick at 1 day of age
#2, Claiming to see if an egg is or is not fertile before incubating

Or like someone saying they have green eyed peafowl,,well I got purple eyed peafowl,,how's this??

Gorgeous, I want one.

I believe that they "talk" while still in the shell. In nature, natural selection heads towards all hatching at the same time because any late hatchers are liable to be abandoned by the hen.
