2014 breeding season begins, post your results

so far we have collected 16 eggs. My friend has 6 eggs under a broody and 5 out 6 show development. I put 3 into our incubator and our pied hen is sitting on 7 eggs. We have to watch her nest as our male was bothering her,

Don't know if this will be any help, but here is my opal chick with a purple chick on either side, just for comparison.

Hmmmm this is a good photo to compare, i'm sure its not opal, but i really don't know if its look like a purple i wish i had some india blue chicks to compare with.

Last year i had one light colored chick hatch out of 48 chicks thought sure it might be a bronze or mabe even purple but it feathered out IB just like the rest .

I will, not sure what we'll get, they are all 3 years old and last year our IB hen laid but nothing developed to far. The pied hen is new this year so
