2014 Hatchery Chick Orders

I have to wait until April 2nd to get my babies (have to wait until Dunlap hatches them Jungle Fowl). I'm so impatient, though!

I'm going with 3 local feed stores to get my wish list.
My first group of babies I get to pick up WED 3/12

2 Silkies , Black & Splash
1 Buff O
1 EE
Then a few days later
my Marans arrive.

Well I ordered mine in dec started with 30 and kept looking at babies and ultimately received 79 hahaha

I just gave them the address of the main distribution center and they put my number for them to call. The dist centers are used to it they told me. I think I really cut losses that way, only lost 1 out of 79.

What breeds did you end up getting?

Of course, I originally only started with 4 chicks in my order. Then I added 2 Polish. Then I added one of each of the Jungle Fowl. Then I got home and my mother told me to get two of each of the Jungle Fowl and she would pay for two (they're ~$9 each). I'll probably get a few more chicks if I wander in to any feed stores...

I wouldn't have even known about the Jungle Fowl if I hadn't looked on the hatchery website, since the booklet I got is two years old.

ok.. you ready... brahams, marans, anconas, wydandotte, penedenca, legbar, welsummer, delaware, buckeye, polish, orpington, cochin, blue andalusian, blue favacana, dominique, golden campine, buttercups, lehorns, faverolles, ameraucana...

haha i like to refer it it as the XTREEME mixed flock lol i really want all of them lol

oh yeah forgot silver grey dorking too. im into heritage breeds. I have 30 ducks coming in April lol

they have started to come over to me when i put my hand in. so far the sweetest are the Marans, the polish, blue andalusian and EE from MM. From MPC the Marans, buckeyes and polish. So far, but then i have alot of babies. They all change anyway when they start laying. So far the Anconas are the most standoffish, but are vibrant and most curious.
