2014 Hatchery Chick Orders

welp i canceled my order at Ideal as they wont hay the breed i want till may or so they say..so i canceled and ordered 5 ducks(2 khaki campbell, 3 welsh harlequin, and 1 blue runner) all female from Metzer's to ship out March 24th

I got my 4 black copper marans!!! YAY! Although one looks like it might be a dark blue and one a solid black. I did get to see the parents. Nice birds, so the chicks will look nice too!

I do - but they're all red

I'll turn the heat lamp off, it's 78 outside, so I don't think they'll freeze. After having to break the ice to water the chickens this morning I feel like I'm melting. So anyway, then I can get some pictures where you can actually see. I'll have to post them later this evening.

Got my Whitmore Farms order in yesterday, had 20 Welsummers, 10 Ameraucana and 20 their choice on order, they sent 30 Wels and 24 either Ameraucana or Olive Eggers (not sure how to tell the difference at this point) chicks are all doing great, USPS got them here in less than a day.
