I started building in February and finished last week, no plans just an idea of what I wanted 4X6X7ft tall, I wanted something i can stand up in, the window was reclaimed from a neighbor who is tearing down his barn, got a deal on a couple of bundles of damaged shingles $11, home depot has a 70 percent off rack with slightly damaged lumber so I raided that, painted the inside and all the paint came from habitat for humanity restore $18, I'm very pleased with the outcome just have to wait for the 3 feet of snow to go away and move it out back:-D

Interior laying boxes with roost and poop board on top, will be filled with sand and sweet pdz.

If u don't mind, I'm kinda gonna steal the roost& poop board part. I'm just going to use 5 gal buckets as nest boxes. Just take some plywood& cut semi- circles along the bottom edge so it'll sit over top of the buckets. I'll do 2 boards like that& screw a piece laying flat in between those two. That way I can just it over the buckets. To clean it out& put new/ more sand in it, all I gotta do is take it off the buckets& carry it outside.

Well, I don't really like the idea of having to go in, so I think I might put hinges on either the roof or the upper part of the back wall. Either way I'd be able to reach in& pull the piece out to clean it.
