I got hatching eggs from her when Luna went broody in June. Clutzy hen crushed a few, but end up with a nice wellie pair, PRock roo and SS hen.
Good idea GlassHen on the combined order. I def want a couple EE, couple buff Orp and couple Procks from her. Then from crazy chick, maybe 3 Aussies and another couple EE (trying to get a variety of EEs). And someone here had blue orps. And hoping to get SLW from the girl in Mo'ville. And Im interested in a barnevelder, new one on my list. I'm going to be swimming in chicks at this rate!

I would definetly take 6 of each SS & Wellie. What other breeds does Deb have ??? I might NEED something else !!

My wish list is SS hens of any age and true blue egg layers .... so if you guys are 'hatching' a plan to entice this person .... you can add my to the SS list .... if I know they are hens, I'll take from 2-3 ... if straight run young ones I'll take 3-5.

Oh - and I found more brand new horse tack - blue halter (fancy one) and blue saddle blanket (so I'll just have them all there for any deals that may go down and no harm if not).

Get a 14 hand horse or a cob pony at 13 hands or so ....

Ponies are strong and can carry overweight adults ! Especially if you are merely pleasure riding. (no, I don't enable!)

Brella - one at a hatchery was selling for $50 per bird ! That is too much for me for a chick that has not survived to be an adult, but I know some people have worked with 2 diff breeds that give blue eggs -not a pot luck mix ... I've got the pot luck hens, so I'm not being a snob - but I just really want a few blue egg layers - I love a mixed flock of feathers, sizes and egg color.

I think that's why I want a Haflinger so bad. They're not so huge but stocky enough to carry someone like myself for some pleasure riding when wanted. Plus I just love their coloring-that golden brown color with the blonde mane, so pretty!

Yeah, they are very pretty !

but don't pass up a good opportunity - even a "normal" pony can really carry a big and even an overweight person - as long are you are not asking some sporting events out of it ! Really !

People used to pack them up with 300 pounds -and those pounds didn't move with and hold on to the horse ! and they would shelp that weight all day ... so a few hours of riding a day - they LOVE the attention.

My mare is 14.3 - so not a pony - but has tiny teeny hooves and walks circles around the other horses when we ride in a group (of her own wishes) - and I am not a little thing any more.

Cochins: Large Fowl Smooth, Frizzled, BBS, Mottled and splits.
Wheaten / Blue Wheaten Ameraucanas
Marans, BBS Copper and Birchen
BLRW
Possible Polish: MIXED Color, Tolbunt or gold laced roo over silver laced hen.

Also will have pure Maple Syrup from this year for sale by then.

My daughter has a few saddles for sale she could bring if there is interest. A couple english and a few western, even pony and kids sized one.

Spring really will eventually come.... I hope

What size will the Maple syrup be? And the cost? My mom is going to want some....our supply of NYSDOCS Syrup dried up when SO changed jobs. And I might need some myself. Haven't checked my personal supply yet. Will order in advance, if that's ok with you. (Worked great with the honey someone bought last time. No guessing on seller's part and nothing to take home since all was preordered)

Now chicks. Umm...I'll take some. LOL IF you find you have a couple of Marans extra, after you decide how many you are going to keep I would like 2 - 3. (I don't really need more chickens, but I really want some darker egg layers to mate with my Ameruacana Roo...see what color green eggs I get. (Then second generation? Could be a really pretty egg. For me it's all about the egg color, not the chicken color)
