The site won't let me quote today. Rancher, as Lynzi said, we both have eggs. I have no large fowl left here though, just bantams and ducks.
No there's no junk fed to my birds, just Purina feed and whatever they find in the pens.

My birds get feed, whatever bugs they find they are freeranged, BOSS, on occasion a turkey or chicken carcass, and sometimes some leftover produce but most of the time the leftover produce goes to the pigs. Right now they are in their glory as we are in between pigs mine just got butchered and am waiting for new ones

The red raspberry sprouts are growing and doing well. I will bring as many as I can! These are really nice, big berries. They have berries that are ready sometime in July and continue to produce berries often into November. I'll also bring some deviled eggs.

Please don't be offended but I have to ask. Does anyone feed their birds raw meat or other unsavory stuff? There have been some in times past who fed their birds maggots, road kill and other yuk.

My barn cats feed the chickens all sorts of dead things and not so dead thing. I saw my one cat drop a mouse in front of a couple chickens and one chicken grabbed it and ate it before it could run away.

I feed the birds rabbit parts when I slaughter them in the winter, dogs gets them in the summer.

They will probably look similar to a khaki campbell when they are older.

Woot! A week and a day till Chickenstock and I finally get to put faces to names. I will be grooming silkies next week at this time for their new mommies. Last call for anyone who may want some mutt chicks as well. I still have room in my car for cheeps.

Why---I may be interested in a couple of raspberry bushes. What are you asking?

Anyone have any blackberry or blueberry bushes?

I've listed one of my Roos for sale on CL, this one is the splash smooth sizzle rooster that I got in March. Thought I would have someone to place him with but I just don't. I hate to part with him and it looks like I may have gotten two cockerels in my sizzle "package" instead of a smooth hen and sizzle roo :-( This boy is listed for $25 and is really sweet. My daughter picks him up all the time no problem.
