I will upload all their pics with a baby chick video opening the egg shield myself during hatching. U can c them and then tell me ur opinion.

The only hen I have laying right now is Thora but they are unfertile for my knowledge. Both Colbolt and Genie still have their trains so I don't know what they are waiting for. Sage should have her eggs hatching within a week or a week and a half. I got home from an FFA trip and she was brooding. That was June 5 so if the peachicks hatch in 28 days then I should be getting more peachicks by July 3rd. I will be waiting for those and then it's over with hatching season and then I got to try and sell them. Then there needs to be a thread called 2015 Non Breeding Season since the height of peafowl is during breeding season, so we need something to do when breeding season is gone.

They look good! Where is number five?

The reason why I don't have 5 peachicks is because the first peachick with the slip tendons in the hock and curly toes died. I put shoes and splinted the hocks hoping it would work. I would exercise the legs but the peachick didn't get better and died when it turned a week old. Every peachick I get with the slip tendons and curly toes dies within a week of hatching. I was able to figure out the problem. I'm going to guess it was the humidity. The plugs that my incubator has can be removed making the humidity drop but allowing more air flow and oxygen or so the instructions say. The instructions with the incubator say to remove the plug when chicks begin to hatch so they get more oxygen. After the first peachick I put the plug back in and have not had that problem ever since then. I was able to hatch out 5 peachicks but only 4 were healthy and still alive. I already have names for the 4 peachicks.
