That's one I would enter in one of the many BYC picture contests!
My season is almost over it started 3 weeks early and all but 2 of my adult males have dropped their trains and the hens that are not on a nest are no longer laying neither, i got as many as 22 eggs per day and now i am lucky to get one , i am good though and i am tired and ready to relax and enjoy all the babes i am keeping and getting this week.. Got this jewel from one of my white hens so hoping it is a silver, i have plans to pull all regular blues next season and just leave the pieds and a white for breeding should get many silvers this way as i tried to keep all the whites and white eyed pieds out of my white eyed pied hen back in 2013 and this is the result of one of those hens egg. Not sure if it is a silver yet i will know in a few week but it is the loudest i have hatched here to date. hope it is a male but i really need it to be a hen .What a difference a few days make! Two weeks ago I was getting ten to twelve eggs per day and now I am lucky to get three. We have gone from hot to cool and stormy to hot again. I hope the season isn't over, it's only June after all.
I agree this need to be entered in the next BYC hen and chick photos or best peafowl photo, it is beautiful
