2015 BYC Calendar Now Available

We've thought a lot about this over the years and while waterfowl have been a big part of BYC over the years, we felt that the calendar should be focused on chickens.

That said, if there's enough demand, we may do 2 calendars: chickens and waterfowl... but the calendars are a LOT of work, so we'd need to make sure there would be enough sold to justify the efforts.

OK so maybe we should put this to a vote...how many of our wonderful duck, geese and waterfowl members would purchase a calendar if they were to submit images to be included in an individual calendar of their beloved ones ?

Georgie bites my backside when he/she wants attention and or cuddles...my bruises are not so cute...I have to explain to my nurse what these bruises are...try telling the nurse that a goose did this....

I am probably going to be put into a home for being insane....c'est la vie!

Sounds sort of like when one of my RSL girls wanted my attention at the second I had my hands full...she flew up and pecked a HOLE in my thigh. Sigh, what we bird owners have to put up with (good thing they're worth it)!

You could be forgiven for thinking Georgie has teeth....I have three very sore and bloodied fingers where an enthusiastic Georgie today decided that my fingers were a good target for appetite...

I need a good excuse now for my nurse on Friday when she sees the damaged fingers...maybe I should be wearing gloves when she comes...!
