Just curious, but where does Lou sleep? Is he like a guard dog when people drive up does he gobble? He is the most beautiful turkey I have ever seen. Is Lou sweet, I'd love to see more pictures of him. Thanks for sharing this photo, it made me smile.

Lou sleeps in the coop with our chickens actually. They get along very well and he protects them...won't go in the pen for tne night until all his buddies are in. We got him and another turkey (Thelma and Louise...Louise started strutting, hence Lou) at the same time as the chickens and raised them all together. He even gets along fine with the rooster and the dogs! He will guard his yard against strangers until he gets to know them though.
