2015 CHICK DAYS!!

If you're asking about valdosta they didn't know yet. They couldn't find the paper that said what they were. I got what looked like EEs, they had beards. There was a lot of guessing going on around the bins. I think one of the customers said it looked like austrolorps and Sussex in the bin with the EEs and possible buff orps in another, a lot of yellow to reddish chicks with different markings on them. And one bin full of khaki Campbell ducklings.

I intentionally drove a different way to town today so I wouldn't drive by the TSC store so I wouldn't be tempted to go look at the chicks and low and behold, when I drove my the Lexington Farm and Garden store, they had a huge sign out saying that THEY have chicks in. I had to drive by TWICE.

I have to keep telling myself that I have to wait until the house is finished next month, bare minimum, before having any new chicks that won't be cared for by a broody. Though once we are in the house, all bets are off!

Rural King got theirs last Monday I got mine yesterday 7 BR baby....g i r...l..s !!!!

TSC is getting chicks next Thursday February 19th. I have never gotten chicks from Tractor Supply before. Is there any chance they will have some Lavender Orpingtons? ?? They said they had no clue what was coming until they get there.
ALSO is there any way to sex them before i bring them home? Only want girls

Sorry, they won't likely have the Lavender Orpingtons. They typically get the most popular of the breeds. Red and Black Sex-links, Leghorns, Easter Eggers (falsely labeled Ameracaunas), Cornish Crosses, Bantam assortments, Barred Rocks, a few ducks; well, you get the point. The Sex-links will be girls for sure. ;) Barred Rocks are easy to tell as well by looking at the top of their heads. The rest are a luck of the draw.

I would be extremely surprised if TS carried something that relatively expensive. As expressed by others, they are going to carry the more common and accessible breeds. Wal-Mart doesn't carry Burberry either.

MY Local feed store is having there chick day May the 7th. I think there website said they will have 500 chicks. Hopefully some good variety. Normally always have RIR,Buffs,Bantams, and Pheasants
