2015 Pacific Poultry Breeders Association Show NOW MODESTO

We were only there for an hour on Friday night, but it was great! We got my daughter's first 4-H show birds... two cute little Dutch bantams (a light brown and a blue light brown) from a very nice breeder. They cuddled right up with my kids! We loved seeing all the different birds and would definitely go back next year!

Her BYC handle is "chooklet". I think she (Dyann) was the only one there selling MF cochins. I bought a trio from a friend who had some of Dyann's birds who decided bantams were not in her future. Anyway, mine (from Dyann via the other friend) are lovely. My Blue MF Roo is a super handsome dude! Here he is, with some ladies, and his Blue MF daughter at 4 months. She was testing the yogurt/mash and couldn't decide: to eat or not to eat? That is the question!

A good time was had by all.

I believe we saw some of those little banties too, and took a photo of them.

Loved her beautiful expression and shimmering blue feathers.

We already have an Brown black OEGB. A handsome fellow, but, he's getting old now... so we brought home a few of his ladies. They've laid two eggs already. The young lady who had them, showed her birds, and this one got a first place (which was just a bonus- we don't show banties). Once you have them in hand, they melt into butter. lol Love their iridescent green black feathers. This girl was enjoying a dustbath.
