2016 Gosling Hatch-a-long

Good timing J!
Marie and Josephine are both laying now. I'll get my bator fired up this week and check everything out. I don't expect to set anything until the second week of March. Kim is right... it's too cold and they grow too fast. I prefer them to be outside (in the shed) as soon as they get their feet under them and are eating good.
I try to have mine on grass by the time they are a week old.

The three eggs i set are dead...again. Unless I buy a goose turner im done wasting my time.

Was gone for 3 days and coming home yesterday finding a sneaky nest of three eggs which my brown african was sitting on to lay the 3rd egg :)
So yesterday I splited up my breeding Africans and put them in the breeding grounds!
They aren't sad at all and Sloppy Joe finally is mating successfully :D
Can't wait to have baby Sloppy Joes
