Woohoo! We're all fighting over them now! One is still drying in the bator and I candled the giant egg and think it's catching up!





And Fiddle still prefers my company! She's like "Mom, who are these chickens? You know I'm a person right!"

Dunno. Not enough weight loss and temp spikes were both thrown out there.... Have not worked up the nerve to eggtopsy yet.

No, I have one styro (which takes patience, lots of spare time, and high failure risk to use,) the one I made, which is a plastic tote with insulation added, and the cooler that I am borrowing from a friend.

Yeah, I am fixing to get one and I am only going to incubate mixed breed eggs in it because I do not want to waste my time on pure breeds only to have a 50% hatch rate.

The last egg under my broody hatched sometime during the night, another beautiful blue Silkie! So the final count is 9 Silkies and 8 assorted dual purpose large fowl. Now I'm building another small Silkie house; it will be my 5th coop.
