I've 4 buff africans not in these pictures since they still need the red heating lamp, especially the 2 latest goslings.

Beautiful babies! Can't wait to have some.

I'm almost disappointed in myself. I used to be able to wait years for things without issue. But give me eggs and an incubator and I'm going crazy 3 1/2 weeks in. Sheesh.

I have an egg that has been rocking for a week and internally pipped yesterday. Lockdown was supposed to be today (day 28), but I locked down early because of the internal pip. Waiting three days is going to be an eternity! I do like that the baby inside reacts to my voice though. I say "hello baby goose" and the egg rocks, and now peeps.

What do you do to keep your hands off the incubator during this long hatch process?

Have our first muscovy hatching this morning. She's locked down tight so no idea how many, but I hear multiple peeping sounds. Still have more domestic and muscovy ducks sitting, so expect to have lots of ducklings running around here pretty soon. Luckily, we have a couple requests for ducks, so will not be hard to sell extras.
