Hey all was gone for a bit!
Alright so my sister and i did research on why my gosling had a ball of pure air growing around it's leg area like a balloon.
The cause of it is usually when a bird has injures itself somehow such as falling off a high place as a baby or gets a hard bang somehow. It's called Subcutaneous Emphysema. There's a few posts on byc who have explained Subcutaneous Emphysema very well.
Birds have numerous of air pockets in their body such as in the abdomen, legs, neck, and head. All the areas in the bird i mentioned could get the balloon affect.
I had a goslings, turkeys and chickens who all had this problem and it did not end well for most of them. It can grow small which is fine and it will eventually go back to normal but if it gets really big you will have to get a sterilized needle and gently push it in the highest point of affected area and gently push out the air until it's empty. And do it everyday or twice a day (if the Subcutaneous Emphysema is really bad) for 2-3 weeks and it should eventually disappear and the bird will be back to normal.
Subcutaneous Emphysema can get really bad at times and the bird will be in a lot of pain and eventually die if action isn't taken!
My gosling is slowly improving!
