Are they huddled together like they are cold or just exploring around?Newborn here, chicks will go into their warm area if they are cold right...? They know where it is but I moved them into the basement where the ambiant temp is in the 60s.
They are chilling outside of the heating pad tent I made.
Calm and quiet but I'm worried

You can always herd them under the tent and hold your hand over the opening for a minute or two so they re-establish where the warmth is.
If they got moved they may not have made the connection that the warm tent came with them I guess?
