Awwww poor poor WallyStill no improvement on Wally Bird. He sounds awful when he breathes or crows. I felt his crop tonight and it’s like a big knot. I feel awful for him.

Wow! Good for Agatha and Emily! And so cool that the Wyandottes and Hector remembered each other. Maybe he'll keep them in line, lol. Nice group of eggs you have there, too.FIRST EGG from Emily today!!!
Finally, at almost 6 months old lol.
I was hoping for a colored egg but it turned out a nice cream color, almost white.
It was 1.3 ounces, the same weight as Agatha’s egg from yesterday.

And here’s all six. Aggie & Emily’s eggs are at the bottom.
I still have Wyandotte eggs even though they’re not here anymore lol.

Thoughts and prayers are with you, really hope all goes well for you and your flock and hoping Wally returns to good health swiftlyI’ve decided to worm all of birds tonight with SafeGuard paste. Wally is concerning me. If he doesn’t improve with this, I may be seeing early signs of respiratory infection. If that’s the case I’ll treat the whole flock with Tylan. It’s expensive and there is a long withdrawal time for both medications. It’s worth the health of my birds though.
They are so cute! Great that they are loving their new homeI put the chicks out in the coop overnight for the first time yesterday. They loved the room to run and fly. 4 of them could get up to the highest perch which i had no idea would happen. Hence the heating pad cord wrapped on it...which has since been moved. Poor Diamond my Cochin couldn't get up. She has the shortest wing feathers and is just smaller all round than the rest. She didn't get wing feathers for quite a while. Then she got leg feathers and some neck feathers before she got tail feathers. She's on her own schedule. She kinda looked sadly up at them on the roost. I scattered some feed amongst the pine shavings, she started pecking at it and down they all came, hahaha.
I set up a coop cam to watch them, lol. Good thing though. After it got darkish, we saw them huddled in the corner rather than under the MHP. BBZZZZTT and I went out and rounded them up under it. It was quite a job, lol. When we opened the coop door, the light outside was bright enough that they didn't want to settle down again. We finally got them all under it and BBZZZZTT held them in till they settled. They stayed there the rest of the night.
Hopefully they'll all go there tonight on their own. I wouldn't mind if they started out under there on their own and then came out because then I'd know at least they knew where it was and chose to go to a cooler area. But inside the house they always slept under it at night and it's much cooler outside than in right now.
There's also a picture of Amber dozing on the perch with her developing head feathers, lol.

Oh, I also moved the MHP after these pictures cause if they're up on the top perch they'd poop on poor Diamond sitting on it, lol
