I wish each entry would have been done in single posts, instead of some having 2 submissions in the same post. Too late to do anything about it now, I suppose, but maybe next year, we could specify to submit each bird in individual posts?

I was just thinking if we are using the "like" system as part of the weight (which I love that idea!) it could skew the votes somewhat. But I'm sure the judges can handle it just fine, so no worries.

Yes, we removed photos that didn't meet the requirements and that we know will not make the calendar for some reason or another, such as image quality.

Thank you, I'm glad you like it! I felt so lucky that I was able to get that shot. Everything just looks so balanced and the lighting was perfect.

But I'm actually hoping that my other entry gets into the calendar. Because the silkie in my this photo just passed away, and he was everything to me. So I'm hoping that everyone can remember Stormy in the calendar.
