2019 Gosling Hatch-A-Long

9 plus one pipping. Too cute. Mom was talking to it and helping open the hole. 2 cold abandoned eggs. Put the eggs in the incubator and after an hour both are showing signs of life. Now I'm only seeing boys.

OH they are so cute I have 2 girl setting I am not sure how fertile they are I didn't t have the pools set out there was so much rain and mud. my Africans need the pool they are so big and clumsy when they breed . this is the first time I am letting them hatch there own I am so excited.

Three goslings hatched today, she is still on two eggs. Hope they hatch as well.

Not hatching but will be picking up our very first two Embden goslings this Saturday along with two aylesbury ducklings. How exciting!

I just got 7 geese eggs and 1 doz duck eggs Just warming up my incubator first time with both, usually do chickens,

It looks like two have internally pipped- some of the other eggs have some shadowing around the air cells, but on one of them the air cell hasn't even dipped down yet and I'm not seeing any shadows. Not sure if that one's still viable. I guess we'll see!

So far, everything going smoothly during lockdown. Multiple internal pips and even got my first external pip this morning. Should have babies tomorrow.

13 with the parents and 5-6 more eggs in the nest. The 2 eggs that were abandoned hatched. Will raise them separate. Learned that lesson the hard way last year.

We set 12 from or two White Chinese females on 3/30 and have 10 growing nicely. We will see what comes of them in just a bit! Always exciting and nerve wracking to incubate!
