2019 Gosling Hatch-A-Long

Last month, I set two sets of eggs in my bator 5 days apart. My bator had a temp swing and killed all but one egg from 2nd set in the first week. I forgot about the solo egg after my trio hatched over the weekend. Yesterday, I heard a peep from my bator and much to my surprise the solo egg had externally pipped. I raced to set up hatcher and get solo egg moved, fearing shrink wrap (I incubate my geese eggs in dry bator). I'll be darned if the solo baby didn't hatch by itself overnight and while very sticky, appears healthy. So now I have 4 buff dewlap babies which brings my dewlap flock to 20. Yay!
