2019 Gosling Hatch-A-Long

Pics
I'm late to the party, but I had 8 Pilgrim goslings hatch a few days ago. The last one was a day behind everyone else and sticky/shrinkwrapped (glued into shell). I did make a safety hole after seeing the gosling had pipped internally, and cautiously assisted later (once vessels had dried up).

She's virtually indistinguishable from the other hatchlings now. Today was their first day outside.

We’re letting them brood and confiscating the babies when they hatch. The father is toulouse and One mother is Toulouse one is African. 9 are doing awesome one somehow got out of the nest while at work and my gf found it dead in the chicken run, my mind is baffled. They still have almost 2 dozen eggs in the nest and babies keep hatching every day or 2. We plan on selling them but based on the fact that they ran 2 foxes off the property yesterday a bigger flock might not be a bad idea.
