2019 Gosling Hatch-A-Long

My third female setting hatched 2 yesterday. She only had two eggs.

I'm late to the party, but I had 8 Pilgrim goslings hatch a few days ago. The last one was a day behind everyone else and sticky/shrinkwrapped (glued into shell). I did make a safety hole after seeing the gosling had pipped internally, and cautiously assisted later (once vessels had dried up).

She's virtually indistinguishable from the other hatchlings now. Today was their first day outside.

We have had 10 goslings hatch so far. We’re letting them brood and confiscating the babies when they hatch. The father is toulouse and One mother is Toulouse one is African. 9 are doing awesome one somehow got out of the nest while at work and my gf found it dead in the chicken run, my mind is baffled. They still have almost 2 dozen eggs in the nest and babies keep hatching every day or 2. We plan on selling them but based on the fact that they ran 2 foxes off the property yesterday a bigger flock might not be a bad idea.

Two more hatched yesterday. Two boys of course, I knew I'd jinx myself lol. She stepped on them though and they aren't doing to hot. One flips over backwards and the other has splayed legs.

I hatched out 3 Saddleback Pomeranian goslings last Friday. Any ideas on the sexes? I’m thinking the buff looks like a girl. The grey with the pinker beak a boy. And they grey with the darker beak a girl?

Oh, no...hope they're doing better soon.

The flip flop one died. I've got hobbles on the splayed leg one and he is getting around pretty good today. Walking with feet under him and acting good.
