Buzzards will not harm your chicks.

And I was worrying the entire time. It's just last year we had a peachick taken and I've no idea by what. I found by chance his/her little wings. The only other birds we have are kestrels, tawny owls, barn owls and little owls.

When our cat eats a bird all that is left are the wings.

There was also part of the spine left but that was it, sorry I should've said.
I'm not sure it would've been a cat as we don't have one and our one neighbor doesn't either. If it was a cat it would have to walk a long way. lol Again if it was a cat wouldn't it have taken both chicks?

Not necessarily, especially if it ate one. And feral cats don't need an owner to hang out.

At what age should you be able to tell if their male or female.

Should be clear around 3 months old

It's been a very stressful week! I've had a bunch with curly toes, one with splay legs, one with what looks like maybe a twisted tibia, and one with what I can only describe as a hyperextended hock.
