2019 Spring Ducklings are here!

Trapping is really hard. Tomorrow when I try to get them to go out,I will sit up there with my AR and cover them. Until I get the fence jumper.

If. I did not have family obligations tomorrow, I would borrow one of my dad’s rifles and help you. For some reason I have never missed a coyote or bobcat with it. It’s just one of those luck things. I even shot one at 300 meters with no rest with it. Never have been as good with my own rifles for some reason.

My ducks are tree huggers!

I removed the deer protection from some of the fruit trees we have planted last year and the ducks immediately hugged them.

Duck poop is really good for your fruit trees. Makes lots of figs for me. I think you are a little soon on your protection removal. My deer would happily eat trees that size.

And my ducks would happily eat the deer!
Deer ventured close to the house, ducks came running and quacking and chased them away. I haven't seen a single deer since then. I had to remove the wire, the tree started to grow through it.

Well i guess my ducks are speculating on some tasty plums and some sweet peaches this year…

An idea just hit me. When you settle with the government, make them provide you pine shavings from all the pine trees they take down. You may be set for life then.
