It's wait and see today. The pekin is getting mad that he can't get out. I can here him peeping from the living room. He was still chewing a little so I thought I would wait till daylight to peel him out. One egg that is due didn't pip and I don't see movement. I will look again tomorrow. It's one of the little ones too. Two more due on Saturday and then one not till monday. Not having as good luck this time.I wanted to take your DH to the library or indoor gun range but if you have to leave him on duckling duty I understand.
Leave a bit of peanut butter in front of the game camera, i bet you will record some masked bandits. I still have that trap-experienced Raccoon around here. The peanut butter in the trap is gone, the trap is triggered but no 'coon inside. And if i set up the trap really sensitive, it is closed the next day with the peanut butter untouched…@WannaBeHillBilly Noisy, messy teenagers! I bet they "distribute" their fresh pool-water in no time and scream and squeak of joy while doing so. I love your ducks! They look really cute!
I should have waited to buy the pump for the pool. The girls enjoy lowering the pool level with their various antics. They are moving from the garage brooder to their duck house early next week. The electric fence tester is suppose to be delivered Tuesday. The vet said eagles were our threat, but we surprised two raccoons late Sunday night about a block away. I ran a game camera for three straight weeks not too long ago and nothing showed up but we did not have the ducklings out at that time.
