Yep that’s Snoop ducky duck. He just got his drake feather back. And wanted to show it off!

Snoop?! Is he snoopy? - I call my little Buff Orpington drake "Erpelchen" - Erpel is the German word for drake and appending "chen" makes everything small and cute, so he is my »drakeLing«…

Buff Orp drakes are so gorgeous wish I could have kept mine out of 4. Buffs that hatched here I had 3 girls 1 boy but I knew in my heart Muscovy with another drake shaped like him wouldn’t work. Actually my husband named him Snoop, We had another drake a Runner bro to Snoop his name was Stretch but 2 Runners wouldn’t work out either. Got to protect those girls!

It's funny but Mini does fine with George. She has him under control. But let him out with the others and he goes crazy. He even tried to mount the gander which is twice his size. I left her in drake jail with him today and he has been behaving himself unless invited.

Well we were weak today. Went to TSC for feed. Cannot pass the ducklings
Came home with one

They had fawn and white runners but we somehow got out of there. There was a dead Bantam chick in the next trough

I will need to get food soon and Steinhousers has baby rabbits. Luckily TSC doesn't carry my preferred food.

We got feed, chick starter, chick grit, hydrahen, and the toy duck. Now it’s just a matter of waiting a couple more weeks to see if the experiment turns out okay.
