I think I am going to use some foam pipe insulation. I can wrap the last pole and snug it up to the barn.

Well that will be a little difficult as the dog and I are both female. However I bet my husband's up to it. Do I have to turn off the fence or just tell him it's off

My female dog could cock her leg up quite high ... trying to out do the male!

A can is also helpful if your wanting to be discrete ...
