2019 Spring Ducklings are here!

As my ducklings approach 9 weeks old, I am noticing that a pattern is developing, when they are outside they all interact together, for the most part. However they are showing up on camera sleeping in a group of three and one off by itself. The wire covering the brooder is 1/4" so I can not determine who the odd one out is. Of course if I walk into their garage they are upset that the axe murder is coming to get them and they group together. It only shows up on camera. As far as I know, they are all girls and no one displays sick or lathargic. Any ideas folks?
Maybe that duck has a bad breath? - Just kidding!
Limpy cannot stand another duck close by where he is sleeping. He bites everybody venturing too close. On the other end of the scale there's Katharina and her two sisters, Curiosity and Nona. Over night they cram into Katy's chosen nest-box so they look like "Champ" with three duck heads.
The other's sit in open groups, no distinction of breed made and sometimes the White Layers are being used as pillows.
But when the "cereal killer" shows up in the morning everybody comes running to the door because they know it is meal-worm and cat-food time! Maybe you should start such a ritual too, so they won't associate you with the ax anymore. - If you like that, of course.

So so. I worked on the plug in her neck some yesterday. Dosing her antibiotic is like holding a snake by the tail. Her neck is so long and she's pretty strong. Even if I get it all in, she hangs her head and let's it drip out. The salve part she likes. I keep it in the fridge so it feels good. I am maybe to 50/50 on her. Calling the vet tomorrow to see if she can get a long acting antibiotic shot.
Do geese like meal-worms? If yes, you may be able to soak some meal-worms in the antibiotics and have them absorb the liquid.

No geese are committed vegetarians. Peas, watermelon, corn but not mealworms. She needs 2mls every 12 hours so too much for peas. Got most in tonight and pulled the plug out....yuck. See how she is tomorrow. The avian vet keeps calling her wildlife. I need to ask why.

Despite what she thinks Natasha is very sweet. Fred was an ahole to everybody but me. I laughed my butt off but DH and the dog suffered bruises. So depends on the goose. I think sparkles is going to be mean too. Beverly is getting his nuptial feathers. I hope his pom pom turns green.
