I thought my ducklings had somehow injured their winglets, but what looked like bloody crusts were tiny chocolate brown feathers. Grown overnight!

Here they are Hare Krishna on the left, then Carl halfpekin, then Beauregard, half Rouen and the big one is Barbra Lewis also half Pekin but she's gonna be blue.

I love Carl! Especially that spot on his left foot.
