2020 BYC Calendar - We Need Your Pictures!

Here are two pictures of Komugi, both taken in 2016. Sadly, she wandered off after a hawk almost got one of my bantams, and she hasn't returned. She was an ISA Red hen.

And here's a silly picture of Su sitting on Najika, taken in 2018. There was only one nest box in the old coop, where this was taken, and they both had to lay. Yotsuba is barely visible in the back, behind Su and Najika, also in need of the box.

And here's a picture, taken that same morning, of Najika all fluffed like a porcupine and about to lay an egg, with Komugi in the nest box behind her.View attachment 1845332

I hope that you like these pictures -- though I doubt that they'll end up on the calendar, there are so many other beautiful pictures posted -- and that those last two elicited at least a smile!

So sorry about your Komugi. That's so sad. We've had some hens that sat on top of each other, too. It's so funny when they do that!

I would recommend you delete all but your two favorites so the judges aren't confused.

Question:

The rules say that they will be collecting all the pictures after the contest ends, so I would assume you can edit it before August 31st.
